1st week over!

Well my first week at work seemed to go well. Its definately an enjoyable atmosphere, far more relaxed than I expected.

Its a bit of a novelty to have my own desk and a huge one at that plus the 5 minute journey home has spoiled me for life - I'd never be able to go back to commuting now!

The interesting finale to my week came today, when one of the directors came to speak to me. They have read my CV and are interested in the fact that I have DTP and Mac experience. At the moment they commission an outside designer to do their brochures but would like to do it in-house if possible. She has asked me to bring in some examples of my work to see if I'd be up to the task. Great, as I'd definately the direction I want to go in.......the only problem being that all my examples of work are relating to the LVG! On the advice of everyone else, I took off any mention of the LVG on my CV, so how am I going to explain that one!
So far, I've managed to get away with being questioned as to whether I'm a goth but I'm sure the vampire thing is going to raise a few eyebrows!
