Dundee part 4 - Saturday

Our train home was at 4pm, so we had most of the day to spend in Dundee, with a beautiful weather forecast.  Checked out of hotel, stored luggage and headed down to see the Discovery ship.

Steampunk in Kew

The weekend after Dundee, there was a steampunk meet-up at Kew Gardens, arranged by Guy Padfield.  As the days grew closer and the weather got hotter, I was starting to wonder whether I wouldn't prefer going for a swim instead ; dressing up being the last thing I wanted to do. However we wanted to support the event and hopefully catch up with friends, as we've not done too many steampunk events this year, so we decided to go for it, albeit more dressed down than usual.



this could be considered Dieselpunk, no? :-)
