weekend's update
13 November 2005 17:10Had a great night last night at Dropzone in Reading. Met up with Becky, Dave, Mark and Lisa at the Hobgoblin (we had no problem driving into Reading this time, just spent 20 minutes trying to work out how to get out of the carpark!) then at about 10pm ish, walked down to the club where we met up with Helen (good to see her, for the first time in ages), Darren, and others (whose names escape me at present).
Very friendly club, set in a warehouse type building (felt like Slimelight in the old days!)with a very cheap bottle bar and music in the main room was enjoyably bouncy. Didn't spend much time in the goth and metal rooms because they were tiny and music not really to my taste.
Club ended at 2am and we made the long walk back to the carpark - my feet were killing me by then, next time we will just go straight to the club and park outside there!
Today has been spent unpacking the contents of our living room, trying to be ruthless and put stuff in the charity box, and I can finally cook again so I've made a great big chicken and bacon pie - not eaten it yet, so if no-one hears from me or Rob for a while, you know why!
Note - not quite got the hang of LJ Tags (I can create them but can't seem to get them to stay in the right part of the sentence), so I've not bothered!
