rapidly running out of holiday allowance at work! :-) After a week or so of badgering Rob, he finally agreed that going back to E-tropolis this year would be good.
I initially wasn't too excited about the line-up for this year, what with VNV Nation headlining, however once Infest announced the same bloody headliner, we figured it would be more fun to avoid VNV in Berlin than Bradford. :-)
It was a lovely little festival last year and what sealed the deal for this year was the announcement that Spetsnaz had been added to the bill, so it was a must-do!
No sooner than I built my hopes up, they received a slight blow - what's going on with the hotels in Berlin for that weekend? All my usual options were already booked and everything seems to have hoiked their prices up.
Turns out that there is a major trade fair that weekend plus a massive fireworks festival - Pyronale 2011. As a result, hotels are charging premium rates.
anyhow, all was not lost.................................after booking a "just in case" hotel last night, I remembered another one added to my favourites a while back. As luck would have it they still had a room available..............................
