Impulse buying!

And in another moment of extreme impulse buying, I have just purchased 200 beetle wings - partly inspired by the latest post on dress_diaries and co-incidently by an email just forwarded to me by a work colleague re Ellen Terry's beetle wing gown, totally stunning, I need to find an excuse to travel to Kent to see this!

Not sure what i'm going to make with them yet, obviously nothing quite as awesome as that dress but my lovely blue/green striped taffeta arrived today, so maybe something with that?

I think I deserved it, been the butt of all jokes today re my current squeaky voice and I need cheering up. :-)

*incidently, apparently the wings are shed naturally by the beetles, so I assume none were harmed to aid my purchase!
