Back at home with my computer (and working internet again, yay!) but I mustn't be distracted and play on here all day as I've allocated today for sewing.
Full post to follow, with photos hopefully, of a sunny easter weekend in Cardiff, comprising of cycling, walking, eating too much, a little medieval festival and a visit to the beach. Finished off, back in London yesterday, by a fun Easter party hosted by

Today,I,m selfishly happy about the lack of sunshine, as it avoids temptation to go outdoors. Instead am cracking on with my military victorian bodice. This morning I completed the braidwork on the body of the jacket and am now about to embark on the sleeves. Its slightly fiddly, as expected, but once I managed to draft out a symmetrical pattern and transfer it to the fabric, the sewing itself was a lot quicker than expected.
So, less procrastinating, more sewing!
Back later!!
