Still updating, no point going chronological at this stage so posting some of the highlights for the sake of linking to my photo albums.
Its the time of year of the Open Days of the "Big Seven" London Cemeteries.  We didn't bother with Nunhead this year, its a beautiful place but too much of a trek to get to.

For a change, we decided to visit Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park for their open day.  i was in two minds about going, it was a rare sunny day and the thought of spending it in Mile End didn't really fill me with joy.  But in the end it turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise, a rare gem of wild countryside in the middle of an ugly run down part of east London.

And then a few weeks after, the bigger, more established open day at Kensal Green.  Where dressing up to the nines is practically expected :-) and after having visited for so many years, I no longer do any of the tours but spend the day picnicing and catching up with friends, in the beautiful surroundings.
