Other than the more obvious upcoming events (hats at the V&A) which I'll of course be going to, a few exhibitions I'm planning to attend in the next month or so.  Stuff that Rob's not to bothered about, so I'm most likely to go after work  if anyone else is interested?:

Russian Criminal tattoos at the Michael Hoppen Gallery, Kings road - only on until the 7th March and no late openings (open until 6pm), so I'm planning to dash down there after work this Thursday.  OK, I confess, inspired to see this by thinking of Viggo Mortenson in Eastern Promises! :-)

Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Natural History Museum - can't believe I've not been yet, given the location!  They open late on the last Friday of the month, so I'm planning to book in advance to go on Friday 27th March.  Maybe do the Darwin exhibition while I'm there too.

Le Corbusier at the Barbican - not sure when yet, but planning to do one of their late night Thursday openings.  Also another part of this exhibition is at the RIBA, so I'm aiming to get there for one of their Tuesday late night openings too.

Rodchenko & Popova, Russian Constructivism at Tate Modern - not sure when yet, probably a Friday evening.  On until 17th May, so lots of time to fit this in someplace.

then of course, from the end of March (and something that i guess Rob will be more than happy to trek to South Ken for!) - Wallace & Grommit Cracking Contraptions at the Science Museum.  Will be aiming to do the Wednesday late night opening (adults only!) in April.  there is also a little F1 exhibition here too but I'll probably nip to that on my lunchbreak.

Open to any more cultural suggestions too, if i can find a free day! :-)

Have you been to see the Russian tattoos? A book shop just around the corner from work has a book on Russian tattoos. I thought that the film was fab, and that has nothing to do with Turkish Bath scene

I'm going to see the tattoos exhibition tonight. I loved the film Eastern Promises (again, nothing to do with the bath scene, honest!) and it did make me very intrigued about all the history behind the criminal tattooing.
