Soooo, now that the schedule is up, my provisional plans are as follows:

Friday - Victorian picnic, then Schauspielhaus for Jo Quail and Seiben.  Failing that, either Moritzbastei for Arian 1 or Agra for Covenant.

Saturday - Agra. Faderhead. :-) then either stay for Feindflug or head to Viking Village for Faun.  Depending on weather and mood!

Sunday - ?????? Not going to be my traditional day at Parkbühne this year (although I did want to see Culture Kultur).  Think we'll play it by ear.  Maybe a day at the Viking Village?  It would be nice to be there at the same time as everyone else for a change, so I look forward to seeing other people's plans!!  Either that or I drag Rob to the Alte Messe for a day of synthpop, mainly Assemblage 23. :-)
Really, really want to see Recoil but not sure I'll be able to manage to drag myself to the Agra for a show that late at night. :-(

Monday - aargh!! Can i duplicate myself please?  Alte Messe line-up looks great (mind.in.a.box, Dive, Hocico and of course Nitzer Ebb.).  However, In The Nursery was my no1 must see.  Mittelalter Monday doesn't hold great appeal for me this year, other than Coppelius and Medieval Baebes but i know Rob wants to finish the weekend there.

Think its going to be another year of "see how it goes" but I hope I get to see more great bands than i manged last year!

Also, of course, want to get to one of the Neo-romantic clubnights at Victor Jara.  not sure what night(s) yet, so happy to go with what others are doing there and work round that!

Perhaps unsurprisingly, we again have rather little overlap ;-)

But maybe we manage to actually meet at the picnic this year. I even already know what I am going to wear to that. I might be rather easy to spot, but quite hard to recognise ;-)

you're not wearing your gas mask to the picnic are you? ;-)

If outfit plans stay as they are, I won't be in historical attire for the picnic but (hopefully) still suitably dressed up for it.

Haha! No, it won't involve a gas mask, although this certainly would've been a fun idea. If you read the dress-code for the picnic really literally, I will be technically outside it, but I am sure nobody will mind ;-)

I was considering revisiting my Victorian gas mask ensemble for Leipzig (although not at the picnic) but in the end decided against it. Too obvious and too impractical.

No, but you just have sparked a very, very mad idea in my mind :-) Maybe next year...

We have major clashes too! The one I'm most disappointed about is to choose between In The Nursery and Coppelius. Aarggh. I really wanted to see Coppelius, because I liked what I saw on youtube and have never seen them live. But that would mean I have to miss In The Nursery. Could I live with that????

So disappointed about the ITN and Coppelius clash. Never seen Coppelius before and its unlikely they'll ever come to the UK.
We usually love going to the Agra on Monday but there seems to be less proper mittelalter bands this year, more metal instead.

And of course for me, i can't bear missing Nitzer Ebb, although I've seen them so many times before, so ITN at the Pantheon would be more convenient. It depends how we feel on the day I guess.
