Bloody weather

vampyresheepToo late to postpone the picnic now. Boiling hot all week and today it decides to bucket down. Rob understandably doesn't want to go if pinicing is impossible as there is too much to be done in the kitchen (we are behind enough as it is and I can barely sit on the lid of the laundry basket as it is so full, waiting for the washing machine to be plumbed back in!)
Worse case scenario, I make my way to Highgate myself to see if anyone else turns up and go to the pub for a drink or 2, going home in time to get ready for Kryptorium in the evening.
Not fair, the one day of the year when I actually want sunshine. I guess that whatever god it is that controls the sunshine is having a laugh at the expense of goths - "you complain when its too hot, so here you are, try sitting out in the rain instead!"
